The first week of summer is behind us. In the predawn sky the winter constellation of the Pleiades has returned accompanied by the winter star Aldebaran and the planet Venus. The evening sky features the bright summer stars Arcturus and Vega which continue to twinkle brightly. On the evening of the 4th of July, there will be a full moon (look below the moon for Jupiter and Saturn). But it also the day when the earth is farthest from the sun (aphelion). https://skyandtelescope.org/observing/this-weeks-sky-at-a-glance-june-26-july-4-2/
