There is more night sky viewing time, as the autumn nights are getting noticeable longer. Arcturus shines in the west after dark, while in the southwest the planet Jupiter continues to sparkle. The Milky band extends up from the southwest as well, arching magnificently across the sky towards the northeast horizon. But you have to be in a really dark location to see it. The moon is starting to grow, as the new moon was on Saturday the 28th. Enjoy the view. https://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/this-weeks-sky-at-a-glance-september-27-october-5/
